HP unveils SOA governance suite
HP is updating its service-oriented architecture (SOA) governance suite with new features designed to automate the service life cycle, create reusable business processes and control unauthorised services, says The New York Times.
HP SOA Systinet version 3 is designed to govern SOA-style services through development, deployment, production and end-of-life in various formats such as Web services, REST, Java and .Net.
“SOA deployments are becoming more mature and upgrades to Systinet will help businesses more quickly harness SOA's agility and flexibility benefits,” says Kelly Emo, HP's SOA software marketing manager.
Icap selects OpenPages ORM
Icap, a global electronic interdealer broker company, has selected the OpenPages Operational Risk Management (ORM) module to manage its operational risk and compliance requirements, says Market Watch.
Icap is active in the wholesale markets in interest rates, credit, energy, foreign exchange and equity derivatives and has an average daily transaction volume in excess of $1.5 trillion, more than 60% of which is electronic. OpenPages ORM delivers a policy-driven, process-centric way to manage risk through self-assessments, end-user surveys, automated workflow and executive dashboards.

Trintech releases new version of ReconNET
Trintech, a provider of integrated financial governance, transaction risk management and compliance solutions, has released ReconNET 7.5, reports Market Watch.
The newest version of Trintech's reconciliation and account balancing application includes improved security, usability enhancements, and support for a new archival module which will help customers further streamline reconciliation workflow so they can deploy resources to other areas critical to their business.
ReconNET 7.5 supports current versions of Oracle and Microsoft databases, the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, and Crystal 2008.
