
Huawei Symantec has opened a national service and call centre, Huawei Symantec Care, which will provide support for its storage, server, networking and security products in SA.
According to the company, Huawei Symantec Care has 20 engineers and serves a customer base drawn from an array of sectors.
From telecoms, government, finance, energy, media, transportation, healthcare and education, the opening of Huawei Syamnetc Care is expected to buffer the company's growth in the SA market.
“Huawei Symantec Care is composed of a team of engineers who collectively have many years of experience in Huawei Symantec hardware and Symantec security software, and they are qualified and equipped to deliver world-class services, says Edmont Rao, regional director of Sub-Saharan Africa, Huawei Symantec.
Huawei Symantec Care says it supplements the full range of Huawei Symantec products. Each product offering is easy to implement and support because the hardware is designed around cloud computing and virtualisation and security software is embedded into the hardware.
“Customers do not necessarily have to have an in-depth knowledge of the various hardware and software components because Huawei Symantec solutions come certified and ready to work,” says Lex Pienaar, managing director of Huawei Symantec Care.
“These certified solutions overcome incompatibility problems and, alongside the support services provided by Huawei Symantec Care, they also offer customers a complete, worry-free solution.”
