IBM positions Ilog in WebSphere
Ilog's Business Rule Management System software has emerged from its acquisition by IBM as part of the WebSphere product family, states SDTimes.
IBM released IBM WebSphere Ilog JRules 7.0 and IBM WebSphere Ilog Rules 7.0 for .NET. Each version now has more parity with the other, as well as updated tools for writing, editing and managing business rules.
JRules 7.0 now includes a Microsoft Office plug-in that was previously only available for the .NET edition.
Oracle upgrades Enterprise Manager
Oracle has introduced two new editions of Oracle Enterprise Manager: Management Packs, and enhancements to the existing SOA and Java EE management pack, reports ebizQ.
Oracle's New Management Pack for Oracle WebCenter Suite provides performance trending and root cause analysis for Oracle WebLogic Portal by automatically discovering and modelling the relationship and dependencies between high-level Oracle WebLogic Portal components.
Customers can visualise the dependencies and transformations between proxy and business services for more effective performance diagnostics.
