IBM SA has recognised its business partners, operating in the services, storage and software arenas in the South and Central Africa region, crediting them with the company`s regional rise in the server market.
"Business partners` collaboration with IBM in 2005 has resulted in the company becoming number one in the server market space in the region," said IBM`s newly appointed channel executive, Stelio Frasco. "This collaboration has resulted in us taking the market share from our competitors and growing the revenue by double digits."
Overall, Faritec Holdings won the honours, with the 2005 Top SA Business Partner award, announced at an event at Johannesburg`s Sandton Convention Centre.
