IBM sues former VP
IBM sued a top executive to prevent him from joining Apple, court documents showed, reports Reuters.
IBM said Mark Papermaster, who was VP of its Blade Development unit until last week, signed a non-compete agreement with IBM that would prevent him from accepting a job with a competitor until one year after leaving the company.
"In his capacity as a member of the Integration and Values Team, Mr Papermaster has gained access to confidential information concerning the company's strategic plans, marketing plans and long-term business opportunities, including the development of specific IBM products," the company said.

Yahoo replaces media chief
Yahoo will appoint former Microsoft manager Jeff Dossett to lead its US media business, as two more executives left the beleaguered Internet business, says Reuters.
Dossett, who will report to Hilary Schneider, executive VP of Yahoo US, is replacing Scott Moore, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
Yahoo also confirmed that Alan Warms, the GM of Yahoo News, is leaving the company and will be replaced by Neeraj Khemlani, Yahoo's programming VP. Several executives have quit Yahoo in recent months as uncertainty about its future has mounted since Microsoft first made a takeover bid in February.
