icomXpress integrates product line of e-business solutions

Existing products to be improved and integrated into solutions suite
Johannesburg, 11 Sep 2000

Commerce Express, Inc. (icomXpress), a leading supplier of intelligent eBusiness processing applications in the Financial Services, and Government markets, today announced it will be releasing improved versions of its workflow, transaction content management and xml forms and will be integrating them into a suite of eBusiness software solutions named icXpertSOLUTION Suite.

The company has seen significant growth in its user base (estimated at over 4,000) since it began selling an integrated product over one year ago. The company`s previous integrated software suite, known as Keyflow Commerce, will be replaced by icXpertSOLUTION Suite.

"Offering our technologies as an integrated solution and renaming them is another phase of our strategy announced on April 10, 2000 when we changed our company name," stated Don Byrne, president of icomXpress. "Look for a series of other exciting announcements over the coming weeks and months which will further define our direction in the eBusiness market."

The components of the new icXpertSOLUTION Suite consist of icXpertVAULT, the company`s transaction content management software component that manages content data storage using Microsoft`s SQL Server as its back end, icXpertFLOW, the company`s award-winning, Windows 2000 certified, intelligent workflow solution (previously known as Workflow Server and Keyflow) and icXpertFORMS, the company`s patented XML (eXtensible Markup Language) forms designer.

In the past, customers were able to purchase the workflow and content management of the suite separately. As part of the company`s goal to more tightly integrate the three pieces into a single suite, the product will only be sold as an integrated suite in the future. Component licensing options will allow customers the flexibility to meet their specific needs. The initial release of the software suite on September 1, 2000 was timed to coincide with the product name changes and includes all three components.

"Given our XML-based workflow and transaction content management capabilities, icomXpress is poised for leadership in the e-Business marketplace. We can offer clients a significant time-to-market advantage consisting of a complete solution that will be easy to customize and maintain - resulting in a low total cost of ownership (TCO) and a quickly realized return on investment (ROI)," said Cynthia Maxwell, Director of Worldwide Marketing Programs.
