IDION`s US subsidiary Vision Solutions, a leader in information availability management, has announced its new customer win, Staples Inc.
Staples will use Vision Suite to support the back-end operations, including inventory and shipping, in its StaplesDirect.com business, the recently combined operations of the company`s catalogue and Staples.com businesses.
Vision Solutions` technology will enable the continuous availability of back-end data for StaplesDirect.com, supporting Staples` ongoing commitment to highly efficient inventory tracking and shipping for its delivery business.
In addition, Vision Solutions` integration with IBM development will allow Staples to leverage product changes and enhancements to IBM`s iSeries technology.
In the future, Staples plans to implement the Vision Suite in other areas of its business.
