IIL, NYU collaborate on PM

International Institute for Learning (IIL), a provider of training in the areas of project, portfolio and business management, has collaborated with the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies to jointly offer programmes for project management and business analysis professionals, reports FoxBusiness.

The alliance will enable programme participants to meet the requirements of many tuition assistance programmes, a critical attraction for adult learners in tough economic times.

"IIL is honoured to work with the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies in offering the very best professional training for today's business leaders. These certificate programmes and courses will give our clients a strong advantage in this challenging economy," said E. LaVerne Johnson, founder, president, and CEO of IIL.

CBE introduces project management track

The College of Business and Economics in Maryland, US, is introducing a new track starting in autumn, says The Towerlight.

The project management and business analysis track is the result of a demand from the business community, according to Sharma Pillutla, chair of the department of e-business and technology management.

It's also timely because of the introduction of the department of e-business and technology, which was created at the beginning of the academic year.
