An independent poll of 200 managed hosting customers in the UK, conducted by Vanson Bourne Research, sees Rackspace Managed Hosting Europe in poll position for customer satisfaction, scoring an average of 9.29 points out of 10. This score supports Rackspace`s goal to become a leading global service player as well as the world`s premier managed hosting company. In comparison, none of the other eight leading hosting companies scored higher than 7.73, with the lowest scraping only 5.25 points.
The research also shows that Rackspace beats the average rate of customer recommendation (6.8 out of 10) achieving a whopping 9.46 recommendation rating. Rackspace believes there is a strong correlation between customer loyalty and business success and has set out from its beginning to be a service company first and a technology provider second.

Vanson Bourne, the independent research company commissioned to carry out the survey, evaluated the levels of customer satisfaction within the industry versus the likelihood of customers to recommend their hosting provider. Two hundred companies were interviewed during May 2005.
