Sony confirms PlayStation phone existence
Sony appears to have confirmed the existence of a PlayStation phone and a tablet for a second time, says PC Mag.
Last Friday, Sony held two conference calls for investors: one for Japanese media, which was translated into English, and a separate call for US analysts, held later. It was during that second call that Sony executives were asked to clarify statements that they had made earlier.
At issue is whether or not Sony will manufacture a so-called PlayStation phone, a follow on to the Sony PlayStation PSP, a portable gaming device unveiled in 2005.
