Indian e-learning offered abroad

Chinese or German students could soon be able to make use of e-learning modules in IT developed in India, writes Hindustan Times.

In an effort to expand globally, the Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation unveiled its Web site in seven languages.

Apart from conducting online college admissions for the past two years, the company also conducts the Maharashtra State Certificate in IT, a basic literacy course.

Hitachi targets education sector

Hitachi Software Engineering is targeting the sector with a three-month trial of Encyclopaedia Britannica Online School Edition for Hitachi interactive whiteboard users, notes ChannelPro.

Created to boost Hitachi's offering to education VARs and support further expansion into the European, Middle East and African education markets, the vendor says its e-learning package can help resellers close sales with new and existing customers.

Free one-to-one training will be provided to VARs by a dedicated team at Encyclopaedia Britannica, who will also be responsible for all content-related enquiries from customers post-installation.

Interactive learning diploma unveiled

The All India Management Association (AIMA), Centre for Management Education, and Hughes Communications have unveiled a post-graduate diploma in management programme on the HughesNet Interactive Onsite Learning (IOL) platform, IBN Live reports.

This is the first time that AIMA has adopted the e-learning mode on IOL platform to offer its flagship programme.

The programme offers graduates and aspiring management professionals an opportunity to attain a joint committee approved qualification.
