Infoblox introduces resilient core network services to Cisco branch office solutions

Infoblox, a global leader in appliance-based platforms for highly secure, manageable and robust core network services - including domain name resolution (DNS), IP address assignment (DHCP) and IP address management (IPAM) - announced today in a live video Web cast: “Unleashing the Power of Dynamic Infrastructure” event that its virtual software module is now available on the Cisco Application Extension Platform (AXP) for the Cisco Integrated Services Router (ISR).

Now, enterprises can take advantage of Infoblox's core network services, offering powerful, cost-effective and highly reliable and manageable DNS, DHCP and IPAM services on the Cisco ISR. The solution is ideal for highly distributed organisations, such as retail, healthcare and manufacturing verticals with multiple branch offices and a critical requirement for local survivability and automation of core network services at those sites.
