InfoPrint debuts cloud-powered ADF
Automated Document Factory (ADF) Services, powered by the cloud, writes American Printer.
Built on InfoPrint ProcessDirector, this is a fully-managed, turnkey production print workflow solution for mid-market companies.
As a cloud services offering, InfoPrint ProcessDirector and supporting print-to-mail software will be hosted on remote servers and accessed via a secure network connection.
CMS Wire says ADF is particularly useful for customers within compliant industries who print transactional documents which contain sensitive and private information, such as statements, bills and explanations of benefits, as they can be assured that documents will be sent within an auditable production print environment.
This solution is a Web-based interface and can be accessed by any authorised operator using a Web browser inside the network without the need for additional software.
The benefit of this services-led workflow approach includes reduced labour costs for maintenance and administration, robust business continuity capabilities, and access to the latest software and solution capabilities.
According to TMC Net, Enrico Parodi, VP of software and solutions services worldwide of InfoPrint Solutions says, mid-market companies today are in a tough spot.
“Compliance violations can be costly and often there are not capital and IT resources available to invest in capabilities not vital to their core business.”
