InfraEnterprise 7.03 released in SA with enhanced ITIL certification

Johannesburg, 07 Oct 2004

CRM2 today announced the availability in southern Africa of InfraEnterprise 7.03 and InfraEnterprise Departmental edition, IT service management systems. Both versions carry enhanced ITIL certification.

The release, version 7.0.3, delivers enhancements to the product`s existing change management capabilities, to support businesses at the enterprise level that want to increase the flexibility of implementing change to their business processes.

Advanced features in the new version include workflow stencil portability, a `rule builder` for conditional branching, a change impact analyser, and an enhanced set of API transactions to support rapid integration.

In addition, improved graphical representation and charting of task dependencies is designed to further enhance the usability of the product at the enterprise level.

"As a totally Web-based application using Microsoft .Net architecture InfraEnterprise has rapidly gained a reputation for its ease of deployment and low cost of ownership," says David de Jong, CRM2`s CEO, "while offering a rich and enhanced implementation of the ITIL processes across all its modules."

"InfraEnterprise is used globally by many multinationals like Adobe Systems and Galileo who needed a centrally managed system that catered for diverse geographical locations and time zones. InfraEnterprise was the system of choice over competing offerings," continued De Jong.

"Infra Corporation moved to the .Net architecture in 2000 which means that the product is mature and proven over a wide variety of implementations worldwide and received enhanced ITIL certification in 2003."

"InfraEnterprise is aimed at the enterprise and mid-market companies and contradicts recent claims by FrontRange that its Heat solution is the only officially certified ITIL package for the mid-range market," stated De Jong. "Frankly, I`m surprised that a company as respected as FrontRange should make such unsubstantiated claims."

InfraCorporation has been represented in southern Africa by CRM2 since 2000 and can be contacted on (011) 886-0343.
