InMage partners with iStor

InMage Systems, a provider of business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) software, has entered into a partnership with iStor Networks, to provide a storage offering to channel resellers and original equipment manufacturers, according to ComputerTechnologyReview.

Under the terms of the agreement, iStor will bundle a 'lite' version of InMage's DR-Scout DR and continuous data protection (CDP) software solution with all shipments of its iS325 storage systems.

The combination of iStor's iS325 storage system and InMage's DR-Scout CDP software creates a credible storage offering for resellers and OEMs, InMage said.

HP reveals offerings

HP has introduced a high-end disk array for enterprise customers who require constant access to data and continued operations in the event of a disaster, reports SDA Asia.

The HP StorageWorks XP20000 Disk Array brings both heterogeneous storage virtualisation and thin provisioning to customers at a lower entry point.

The XP20000 is packaged as a "disaster-tolerant" design, which is available with a portfolio of software to cut costs and eliminate the complexities that come with data management.

VMware releases DR product

The new software is aimed at delivering a simplified and automated disaster recovery across data centres.

VMware Site Recovery Manager introduces disaster recovery automation and management capabilities to reduce the risk, cost and complexity of organisations' disaster recovery plans.
