Doxolve, a leading provider of electronic and data management solutions, today announced that it had developed a proxy service, which is normally defined as a computer system or application that assists developers with the integration of Doxolve with their applications.
"Integration is very much the 'name of the game'," commented Pieter du Plooy, founder and director of Universal Information Technologies (UIT), "and recently two of our clients have utilised this facility within their solutions.
"The first application that took advantage of the proxy we have developed was a cardiology observation system," continued Du Plooy. "In this instance, the notes emanating from a surgeon following an operation are captured on a tablet and Doxolve is then utilised to handle these observations by storing and archiving them such that they can be appropriately retrieved when needed on future occasions.
"In a similar way, the PEC Group, a utility billing company, has also exploited the Doxolve proxy," added Du Plooy. "In this instance, the PEC Group, which has developed into an energy management specialist through involvement in all fields of utility delivery and management, maintenance delivery and turnkey project design and implementation, has successfully integrated Doxolve using the proxy into their Intranet-based system.
"These are but two examples," said Du Plooy. "There are no reasons that financial solutions such as Pastel Accounting, Softline Evolution and SAP cannot integrate with Doxolve in a similar way utilising our proxy. After all, Doxolve is an ideal way for accountants to use this solution as a repository for such things as financial statements, VAT certificates and tax clearance certificates, and would eliminate many of the mundane requests that they are continually actioning."
There are numerous possible scenarios re the integration of Doxolve with other solutions and applications and would welcome any opportunity to explore the options available.
