Intellient tackles all reporting needs with Hyperion System 9 BI+

Hyperion Solutions, distributed locally by Intellient, has introduced its Hyperion System 9 BI+, a complete business intelligence environment that addresses all types of management, financial and production reporting, and creates interactive, multi-source dashboards in a unified workspace.

Hyperion System 9 BI+ links advanced analytics with management reporting for seamless reporting against both multidimensional and relational data sources. The solution is built on a common infrastructure that streamlines deployment, management and administration to increase productivity and reduce total cost of ownership.

"Hyperion System 9 BI+ leverages the Foundation Services layer of Hyperion System 9 to deliver common user provisioning, common alerting, shared metadata and licence management," Scheepbouwer says. "The infrastructure enables IT departments to build, deploy, scale and manage business intelligence and business performance management across all of an organisation`s users and applications."

As part of Hyperion System 9, BI+ works with Hyperion Master Data Management (MDM) Server to provide consistent master data definitions across the organisation and allows business users to become direct contributors to managing complex, rapidly changing master data.

Built on a service-oriented architecture, both Hyperion System 9 and BI+ provide financial reporting capabilities, high-volume, pixel-perfect production reporting and ad hoc Web analysis against SAP BW. They also provide high-powered, wizard-based dashboarding capabilities and the ability to combine SAP and non-SAP data seamlessly in one report and one user interface.
