Intuate Group announces partnership with Post Vision Technology

Intuate Group, a technology solutions and people resources integrator, has announced its partnership with project portfolio management (PPM) software solution provider, Post Vision Technology. Having obtained implementation and consultation partner status, Intuate directly promotes and sells Post Vision's Web-based project management software, Project Portfolio Office (PPO), and is responsible for the implementation of the solution and its ongoing support.

According to Peter Green, programme and project management executive at Intuate, the group's experienced project management skills and recruitment of professional resources allow it to implement and manage the PPO software on behalf of its clients and to provide the necessary skills to companies that do not employ full time project office managers and administrators. The project management office team is also in the process of acquiring certification to provide PPO training to clients.

“There is currently a scarcity of good project management skills in the market and organisations are looking for improved ways in which to manage capital expenditure,” he says. And, according to Gartner, many companies are now focusing on establishing or improving a project office to be able to target the right projects and derive optimum benefit from them, making this type of expertise even more critical.

“Developed and supported locally, PPO's hook in the marketplace is that it is quick and simple to implement compared to other project management toolsets. It is very easy to configure and the results are immediate, so clients can derive value from it faster. For users, PPO's major advantage is from a data consolidation point of view - it centralises all project information and provides detailed, real-time reporting of the project environment,” explains Green.

Becoming a PPO partner made perfect sense for Intuate. In addition to complementing the company's project management methods and processes, the PPO toolset adds to Intuate's existing project management services capability and presents clients with a wider selection in project management software.

According to Guy Jelley, CEO of Post Vision Technology, the relationship with Intuate is one of effective synergy.
