Data storage company Iomega yesterday launched its REV SBS data protection solution, an all-in-one backup solution targeted at small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The event also coincided with the company`s 25th anniversary.
The solution is a combination of Iomega`s REV hardware, Computer Associates` BrightStor/ARCserve backup software and Iomega`s REV media, which enables full server and network backup.
"SMEs can now benefit from performance normally reserved for larger organisations, with full daily backup, anti-virus software and disaster recovery, at an affordable price," says Bobby Kennedy, key account manager for Iomega.
Kennedy notes that the solution can be used for home networks, offices and the corporate environment, in businesses running Microsoft Small Business Server. It retails at around R5 695.
