iPhone 5 speculated to be 'nano'

The Verizon iPhone 5 which is said to be a mini or a Nano iPhone is already being expected to be released in a few months, reports 3anime.com

This rumour has been rampant for a while, but with a few evidences leaking out saying that the expected release this summer of the Apple iPhone 5 Mini would really drive a lot of fascination. One of the rumours on the Apple iPhone 5 Mini is that it's going to be a budget iPhone, to generate more sales for Apple.

The home screen or the home button is said to be removed in the Apple iPhone 5 Mini. There is no confirmation on these rumours but there is indeed an Apple iPhone 5 Mini or Nano coming up.

RIM Playbook to support LTE, HSPA+

Research In Motion says plans to unveil its high-speed LTE and HSPA+ versions of its first tablet, the BlackBerry Playbook, writes PC Mag.

This brings the total number of upcoming PlayBook models to four: in January, RIM announced and WiFi + WiMax versions. Networks haven't been announced yet.

"We are now building on the BlackBerry PlayBook's many advantages with support for additional 4G networks that will allow enhanced business opportunities for carriers and developers and unparalleled mobile experiences for users," says Mike Lazaridis, president and co-CEO at Research In Motion.

Pentel releases bluetooth e-pen

Pentel will release the 'airpenPocket', a pen that can wirelessly transmit characters and images it draws on paper, reveals Malaysia Sun.

The airpenPocket consists of a specially designed digital pen and a memory unit, which has Bluetooth capability and can receive . When a note is taken by using the pen and paper, it is recorded in the memory unit by using Pentel's original method (ultrasound infrared method).

The data can be transmitted to a PC via Bluetooth. The predecessor of the airpenPocket uses a USB cable for data transmission between its memory unit and a PC.
