The newly launched iSolve Learning Solutions was awarded Microsoft Learning Solutions certification (CPLS) late last year. iSolve Learning Solutions was officially launched at Tech Ed in October 2004 and is a division of iSolve Business Solutions, a recognised player in the Microsoft market.
Peter Clark, Managing Director of iSolve, explained the decision to launch the training division, "as we are experts in the Microsoft space, with a huge collective knowledge base, we decided it was time to put something back into the market. It seemed logical to use our expertise to develop top quality training material that would be beneficial to both partners and our customers.
"We are particularly interested in entering the learnerships arena and providing disadvantaged learners with real skills in the IT marketplace. In order to achieve this, our training is provided by our consultants, who bring with them actual hands-on field experience and as such are able to equip learners with more than just text book knowledge, learners will leave with real, marketable skills."
He added: "Earning the Learning Solutions competency now identifies us as a member of Microsoft`s officially recognised training and delivery channel, which we intend to leverage to expand our market potential."
The Microsoft Certified Partners for Learning Solutions, (formerly known as Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centres) certification, indicates that a company is able to deliver official Microsoft Learning Products in a classroom environment facilitated by expert Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs). iSolve Learning Solutions employs four full-time MCTs and plans to add to this quota during the course of the year.
According to Mark Reynolds, Group Manager of Microsoft`s Partner Development and Marketing: "Microsoft CPLSs are the only Microsoft-authorised providers of technical skills transfer for IT professionals and software developers working in commercial enterprises, and for fast-track individuals."
He added: "Obtaining a CPLS certification means that iSolve Learning Solutions is able to provide learning solutions tailored to provide the skills and knowledge necessary for individuals and organisations to maximise their investment in the Microsoft software."
Clark goes on to say that, obtaining the certification "means that our customers are assured that we are in a position to deliver the highest quality training in a Microsoft approved environment".
He added: "We are committed to delivering the highest quality learning services. We are also very excited about our ability to offer a unique individual skills assessment and, based on this, customised courses based on individual`s specific needs. I am confident this will have broad appeal as it will enable delegates to attend only the training that is relevant to their needs and thereby minimise the spend on IT training."
In closing, Clark said: "While we are delighted at being awarded the CPLS certification, our goal is to achieve Gold Partner status by delivering even greater value to our customer base."
