The annual ISACA South Africa conference is schedule to take place in Johannesburg on 18 and 19 August at the Monte Casino conference centre. The local chapter of the international association, which represents over 70 000 IT governance professionals worldwide, will be hosting a conference focusing on IT Governance. The events is typically attended by CIO's, IT executives, security professionals, and IT audit professionals alike. The key note speakers this year include international IT governance experts such as Professor Wim van Grembergen from the University of Antwerp Management School in Belgium, and Gary Hardy, MD of ITWinners. The conference will also include some advanced sessions with Jon Tannahill, Canada, on Network Penetration and Computer Forensics.
The conference which will be attended by approximately 250 delegates will cover topics such as service management, security governance, e-crime, outsourcing governance, and assurance.
The two day conference will then be followed by a one day post-conference workshop on database security facilitated by John Tannahill, J Tannahill and Associates, Canada
