ETS, head-quartered in Colorado, was recently acquired by ITI Technology Holdings for $39 million and opened a South African branch in Centurion. ETS SA, headed by GM Andries Coetzee, is currently establishing a business partner distribution channel in SA and is distributing ETS` product range, notably, Corporate Business Suite (CBS), Business In A Box and other "In A Box" Solutions.
Business In A Box 5.0 is an integrated suite of 23 shrink-wrapped groupware applications that provide a competitive advantage for small and mid-sized companies.
The product is fully Internet-enabled and is accessible via any standard Web browser or Lotus Notes client and includes applications that handle the core processes of any business, including company information, sales force automation, operations management, cost and asset tracking, human resources, and general administration.
According to Coetzee, Business In A Box differs from other solutions as it is affordable and fulfils multiple departmental needs. "This gives companies more value for their Domino-based solution needs. With customisation, Business In A Box can significantly reduce time to rollout a solution as well as the costs to develop it.
"We believe the new Business In A Box product provides great value to our customers who need to stay competitive," adds Coetzee. "With Business In A Box we can educate the customers on the e-business solutions they need with the multiple departmental improvements they want."
Among the capabilities added to the new release of Business In A Box 5.0 are:
. New lead management and lead archive databases;
. Automatic integration of data into the linked databases;
. Full customisation of backgrounds, buttons, and logos for internet access;
. New human resource functions, including holiday and vacation tracking;
. New order entry functions, including invoicing and quote features;
. New operations functions, including travel requisitions and purchase requests;
. Automatic transfer of meetings, communications, and vital appointments into the schedule database; and
. Improved performance for faster data entry processing from notes and the Web.
ETS` In A Box solutions are fully tested and validated on the full line of IBM Netfinity servers.
