Foster-Melliar has launched an IT Service Management (ITSM) simulation module that gives IT professionals the opportunity to practise, review, refresh and reconfigure without the real-life risk of plunging a business into turmoil in the process.

The Polestar simulation was designed and produced by G2G3, one of the top simulation specialists in the world. Polestar is a third-generation e-based simulation based on teaching the principles of ITSM. Delegates are given tasks and roles that allow them to engage with others, make decisions and learn in a risk-free environment with the guidance of an accredited ITSM facilitator. Throughout the process the environment is controlled and real-life situations are magnified to emulate daily strains on IT organisations.

While there are no specific prerequisites for this course, Foster-Melliar recommends that learners have a Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
