Janco has released version 4.0 of its and business template. This electronic document is over 180 pages and can be used in the creation of a unique disaster recovery plan (DRP) and business continuity plan (BCP) for any entity, according to a release by press release.

The template provides clear examples of how to create a DRP or BCP for any organisation. It is a model any size of organisation can use. The template has checklists and examples of what is needed to get systems and networks back in working order quickly.

The template is based on the company`s work with organisations which have suffered fires, earthquakes, floods, tornados, hurricanes and other disasters, and is available for download.

Peak 10 hosts Metro Ethernet Web seminar

Disaster recovery site selection matrix

Rumma Zahra, BCP coordinator, information systems department, State Bank of Pakistan, has provided Continuity Central readers with the opportunity to review and use an Excel-based spreadsheet utilised by the State Bank of Pakistan for initiating an enterprise-wide disaster recovery project.
