JBA set to save One 2 One lb1.6 million over the next five years

Leading mobile phone network provider One 2 One has gone live with an upgrade to System 21 financial and distribution software from JBA. The upgrade was secured after One 2 One brought in Andersen Consulting to review offerings from JBA, SAP, Oracle and Peoplesoft and it was decided that JBA had the best understanding of One 2 One`s business. The order, worth lb2.6 million over a five year period will save One 2 One lb1.6 million through increased business efficiencies.

JBA has been One 2 One`s preferred software supplier since its inception in 1991 when JBA provided its core financial product set. Since then the business has rapidly grown to encompass 1.9 million users.

Andrew Ainsworth, One 2 One`s programme manager commented, "The business users are really pleased with the way the project has worked out. We managed to go live on schedule due to meticulous planning by the One 2 One and JBA project team. We will see a saving of over lb1.6 million pounds over the next five years due to improved business processes and reduced levels of development, expected to be some 17 man-years. The figures speak for themselves."
