Konami patches Silent Hill issues

Neo Seeker writes.

Fan forum Silent Hill Community users report a new patch is available for the PS3 version of the game, and addresses framerate, voice sync, missing sounds, missing music, fog density and various minor visual and audio issues.

According to Game Zone, Konami previously admitted that the Collection was ported from an unfinished code.

"We got all the source code that Konami had on file - which it turns out wasn't the final release version of the games," producer Tomm Hulett wrote on the Silent Hill Community forums.

A patch for the Xbox 360 version has yet to be announced, PlayStation Universe says.

Silent Hill HD Collection offers spruced up versions of Silent Hill 2 and 3, and includes all-new voiceovers plus Trophy and Achievement support.
