KPMG Consulting implements Oracle Financials at RMB Asset Management

KPMG Consulting recently implemented an Oracle Application solution project at RMB Asset Management.

RMB Investment Services and RMB Asset Management merged their operations earlier this year, creating the need for the organisation to become more operationally and functionally efficient. As RMB Investment Services has been utilising Oracle Applications successfully for the past three years, it was decided to continue building on this highly resourceful base.

Says Kevin Lubbe, KPMG Consulting Project Manager: "The benefits targeted by the implementation are at the level where the project will affect the entire organisation. Not only will the application improve the quality of work output and consolidate the financial data which will save time between RMB Investment Services and RMB Asset Management, but the implementation also ensures that work duplication is eliminated."

KPMG Consulting delivered the project one month ahead of schedule and 30% under budget. Additionally, the long-standing relationship that KPMG Consulting has had over the last three years with RMB Investment Services has ensured that both parties will reap the benefits of the project.

The Oracle implementation ensures that the finance department within RMB Asset Management enjoys the same applications in technology by streamlining all the applications.
