LA Technology, distributor of AccPac financial software, recently received the award for the best financial software application in the Computerweek Best of Breed Awards `99. AccPac won as the product of choice out of approximately 200 of South Africa`s largest corporations, with 36% of the vote versus the second place with an 18% vote.
Jeremy Waterman, MD of LA Technology, says, "This year`s Best of Breed results clearly indicate that AccPac is equally targeted at the medium-to-large and large-to-enterprise organisation with a 53%-47% split. AccPac is no longer perceived as a SME product only."
