Launch of BCX Infinity Voice Unified Communications Solutions will place South African business telephony in the cloud

As the cloud continues to integrate all forms of IT, more businesses are seeking unified communications services. In response to this demand, Business Connexion (BCX) is launching a hosted voice network that offers a complete voice experience from one service provider, delivered over one platform that will enable one seamless voice experience.

Called the Infinity Unified Voice Solution, the cloud-based voice network provides businesses with complete control over their communication experience. The solution facilitates voice access over any network and device - including tablets and mobile devices, IP phones, desktops and Web - and is delivered over a single integrated system of voice, video, instant messaging, mobility, conferencing and collaboration.

"Infinity provides a simplified, end-to-end communications solution that will enable business to achieve a rich, seamless and high-quality collaboration experience," says Eric McGee, Managing Executive: Communications at BCX. For a start, this means businesses will no longer be limited by their devices, nor will they need to upgrade PBX hardware and software, renew PBX support contracts, or be dragged by an obsolete communications system that impacts productivity and profitability.

With many advanced features included in BCX's basic offering, businesses will benefit from getting more features at a reduced cost compared to alternative voice communication services. "The benefit of mobility also means that productivity increases," McGee adds. "All desktop office features are delivered to the employees' smart devices, which means they have the ability to work anywhere and at any time. This is also a useful feature in the event of downtime or a communications failure."

Being the leader in IT managed services, BCX offers exceptional service levels and proven business solution practices.
