Lenovo has used the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), to unveil its ThinkPad 2015 product portfolio.
The portfolio includes the latest generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon range, which Lenovo claims is the world's lightest 14-inch performance ultrabook. The ThinkPad has, since inception as the ThinkPad 700, sold 100 million units.
The third generation X1 Carbon features new options like a super bright FHD display for the best viewing experience and a PCIe solid state drive for up to 80% faster storage performance than standard SSDs, says Lenovo.
The device weighs less than 1.3 kilogrammes and has fifth generation Intel Core processors.
Lenovo - the world's largest PC maker - also introduced the ThinkVision X24 monitor, which it says brings ultra-thin IPS panel technology to the computing workspace, as well as the ThinkPad Stack, a power bank that offers mix-and-match interlocking accessories.
The 7.5mm thin ThinkVision X24 boasts a next generation Neo Blade 23.8 inch panel, and a pre-coated metal surface technology in place of a traditional rear cover. It offers full HD resolution with a 178 degree viewing angle and DisplayPort or HDMI digital connectivity.
