The new releases boast the latest Intel Huron River platform to help improve speed and battery life. Both consumer and enterprise notebooks and desktops were refreshed.

IdeaPad Z series consumer notebooks have been upgraded with a better keyboard, brush metal finish, HD LED Backlit screen and up to 640GB HDDs.

They also feature Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7, which Lenovo claims will deliver faster boot-up, shutdown times, faster application performance, smarter power and performance management.

Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7 will be implemented in all the new notebooks.

According to Techtree, the all-in-one range includes A320, B320 and 520 models that incorporate second generation core processors and added features like One Key TV, LED backlit screens, 1GB graphics solutions, 1TB HDD, multi-touch interface, and a 3D experience.

ThinkPad L420 and ThinkPad T420 are targeted squarely at demanding business applications and hence come certified to adhere with Mil specs and extensive torture tests.

Both laptops are designed to be greener thanks to low halogen parts, better power efficiency, and are composed of 100% recyclable components.

Silicon India reveals that Rajesh Thadani, director - Consumer Business Unit, HSB, Lenovo India, said: "Our new notebooks offer superior features such as the Accu type keyboard, Brush finish metallic looks, HD LED Backlit screen, higher-capacity HDD (640GB capacity) HD to our customers in India.

"The new Lenovo G470 has a solid, full-metal keyboard, which gives a unique key-touch experience. The screen is 3D enabled and the 2G Intel core processors deliver greater efficiency and power management. To top it all, it weighs less than just three pounds," he said.
