Lexmark International SA today announced three new service offerings aimed at the major vertical markets of the industry.
"These tailored solutions are based on Lexmark`s unique methodology," commented Hans Horn, MD of Lexmark International SA, "and includes an initial phase in which our vertical sector document experts work with client teams to identify potential problem areas. The outcome will be a formal proposal including recommendations concerning the most promising areas for achieving substantial savings and improved document services."
"The offerings start with a consulting phase led by skilled Lexmark professionals leading to a set of resulting recommended solutions, which will include a mix of hardware, software and enabling services. The next phase of the offering is implementation services where our service organisation with qualified project managers will implement at the client location and help pilot the change forward for better document accessibility. Finally maintenance services will ensure both conformance and uptime.
"In this people-intensive aspect of the business, it is the methodologies and quality of the Lexmark`s teams that will make that promise come true," added Horn.
The offerings at a glance
The finance industry, "functional consolidation in banking branches and insurance agents" purpose is to rationalise pre-printed forms management and output devices in the many remote offices of these paper intensive large organisations.
The retail industry, "functional consolidation in retail shops" purpose is to rationalise pre-printed forms management and output devices in the many shops the retail industry has throughout SA.

Lexmark is devoting significant resources to helping organisations as they bridge the gap between paper-based and electronic-based document processes.
