Venture Computer, the sole distributor in Southern Africa for Lexmark International, today announced a new resident web page for print servers and MarkVision software enhancements to make it easier for IT administrators to effectively manage select network devices.
Browser-based management tools provide network administrators the opportunity to better serve their end users and the freedom to manage devices from anywhere on the network. Today, Lexmark announced enhancements to the MarkNet S and MarkNet Pro print servers, MarkTrack and an upgrade to the MarkVision for Intranets software application.
Lexmark is the industry leader in printer management and a champion of open standards. Today`s announcements deliver a powerful suite of web-based applications that extend Lexmark`s device management capabilities and provide support for products from major printer manufacturers.
"Web-based management tools give freedom to LAN administrators,`` said Richard Fearon, sales and marketing director at Venture Computer.
