Lexmark Optra Forms software lets end users easily turn SAP print data into single or multiple page documents with minimal set up and no user intervention at output production time. This printer-based electronic forms printing solution significantly reduces network traffic and requires no additional servers to merge data and forms. Any generic SAP output data in ASCII or RDI format sent to the printer is seamlessly reformatted, repositioned on the page, converted to bar codes if required, and merged with the form as it prints - a process that was very difficult and time consuming in the past.
Lexmark Optra Forms can be designed as a single page or as multiple page documents that automatically use the configuration versatility of Lexmark`s Optra printers including duplex (the ability to print on both sides of a piece of paper) and other paper input or output settings and options.
