The printing solutions include Ethernet-ready Optra printers, Sun-specific documentation and MarkVision for Sun Systems and Intranet Servers, to facilitate seamless installation and use in Sun Solaris network environments.
The award-winning Optra printers offer the versatility to support a wide variety of applications with the quality customers` demand. Customers are able to choose monochrome laser printing speeds of 12-, 18-, 24- or 34- pages per minute (ppm), colour laser printing at 12 ppm black/3 ppm colour and inkjet printing at 8 ppm black/4 ppm colour. With Optra printers, customers are able to mix and match most options to custom-build the configuration best suited to their unique applications and print volumes. Additionally, Solaris Ready Optra printers are designed to print well on a broad range of paper types and sizes.
Optra printers are designed to rapidly print the complex jobs Sun users generate every day. Intelligent controller architecture and high-performance print servers pull jobs off the network fast. Users can select the best print quality for their specific applications because all of the Solaris Ready printers offer 1200 Image Quality mode and 600 x 600 dpi resolution. In addition, the Optra S monochrome laser printers provide true 1200 X 1200 dpi resolution.
