Lexmark slashes dealer prices by up to 50%

In line with worldwide predictions that printing prices are destined to start falling, Lexmark has announced that it is slashing prices for resellers by up to 50% on certain products.

The Lexmark offer will be run by the printer company through its key distributors Axiz and Sahara until 31 October, while stocks last. Products that will be available on offer include:

C720n and the C720dn A4 Colour Laser

* 2400 image quality
* 24ppm mono and 6ppm colour
* 35K monthly duty cycle
* One-year on-site warranty

C910dn A3/A4 Colour Laser

* 2400 image quality
* 28ppm mono and colour
* 100K monthly duty cycle
* One-year on-site warranty

There has been much industry talk around the destined drop in prices of both desktop and colour in the Laser printing ranges, due to the lower total cost of producing the technology for these products.

Lexmark`s channel focus has led its of providing more aggressive pricing to benefit the reseller and ultimately the . According to Lexmark, this special is merely the start of a number of initiatives that resellers can expect in the future.
