Lexmark International today launched the Lexmark Expert Partner Programme, an EMEA scheme providing new levels of benefit and support to the supplies channel, and reinforcing Lexmark`s commitment to its key business partners.
The programme is geared to help Lexmark supplies channel partners meet the challenges of the competitive and rapidly changing EMEA marketplace with absolute confidence in Lexmark`s support.
The core of the partner programme in 2005 will focus on shared communication between Lexmark and its supplies partners on overall strategy, product and service offerings, and improved sales tools offering new mutual profit and growth opportunities.
The Supplies Lexmark Expert Partner Programme recognises and rewards three different types of channel partners through an accreditation scheme:
a. Logistic expert: Lexmark first line of distribution with expertise in high-volume supply chain and order process management.
b. Business expert: Dedicated to direct sales to large accounts, SMB or consumer end-users.
c. Retail expert: Focussed on Lexmark strategic EMEA retail customers and selected for their expertise in category management, merchandising and retail-specific supply chain processes.
Accredited partners will enjoy value-added support from Lexmark including dedicated account managers, joint marketing initiatives, a dedicated `one-stop` extranet, exclusive European and local networking events, strategy updates, sales tools and use of accreditation logos.
"The Lexmark Expert Partner Programme is designed to optimise communications with our business partners while improving our distribution throughout EMEA," says Hans Horn, managing director of Lexmark International SA. "We expect the scheme to provide improved support and profitability to our channel.
"The Expert Partner Programme is further confirmation of Lexmark`s commitment to our key business partners, and our regard for their importance in successfully meeting our mutual business objectives."
Lexmark has limited invitations to the 2005 programme to approximately 250 partners across EMEA, who will have qualified through their specific expertise, 2004 revenue achievements, business processes and reporting criteria.
