Lexmark to face channel

Lexmark SA will kick off its Dealer Touch training programme in Johannesburg this month.

It plans to meet with its indirect sales force every two weeks to provide company and market insight, new product information and other tools "to activate sales".

Hans Horn, MD of Lexmark SA, says the programme aims to provide more up-to-date training and product briefings. In the sessions, Lexmark will outline technology roadmaps and offer sales and marketing support.

Timetables for the events are available from Lexmark and on its Web site. All registered and authorised dealers are welcome to attend these events, says the company.

Although kick-off will be in Johannesburg, quarterly events will be held in the regions, including Durban, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
