Lexmark`s new Optra M412

Venture Computer, the sole distributor in Southern Africa for Lexmark International, today announced the Optra M412, that offers complete, technologically advanced printing solutions that meet the needs of end-users who require desktop or small workgroup printing capabilities. The 17 page per minute Optra M412 ships standard with 4Mbytes RAM, but is capable of being enhanced to 132Mbytes. With high-performance and a very attractive selling price, the Optra M412 delivers an affordable business-class printing solution.

The Optra M412 printers all share common user interfaces and management tools, resulting in increased user productivity and lower training costs because they are easy to install, use and manage. They are compatible with all major network environments and include PostScript 3 and PCL 6 emulations to run with all major software applications. These features provide users the latest in technology across the product line, and reduce the need to purchase additional hardware or software. MarkVision and MarkTrack, Lexmark`s advanced printing management software and asset management/usage tracking software, respectively, reduce cost and help improve network administrator productivity by reducing the support necessary to manage the network printing environment.
