LG Electronics (LGE) SA has appointed Axiz as a distributor of its monitors and optical storage device range. The company has made a natural progression into a full-line distribution and will be distributing the full range of LG monitors, including CRT, LCD and flat screens, as well as the LG optical storage offering of CD ROMs, DVDs and CD writers.
"This appointment cements a long-standing relationship with LG," says Justin Agar, peripherals and software product manager at Axiz. "The addition of the LG range complements our existing products and has already proven itself to be very successful in the 18 months we have been selling these products."
Says Stuart Collins, storage product manager at Axiz: "Axiz has strong representation regionally, as well as dealers in neighbouring states, which means we can take the LG ranges further into the marketplace."
Deon Botha, account manager: IT products at LGE SA, agrees. "The appointment of Axiz is highly beneficial to LG, and not only in terms of the potential marketshare. Axiz also brings its considerable experience and expertise in component distribution to our partnership."
