LogicaCMG, Oracle address HR market
LogicaCMG will now offer Oracle Human Capital Management as part of its own outsourced HR and payroll service, reports ComputerWeekly.
Organisations that selected LogicaCMG as their service provider will see Oracle solutions being set up on a "pay-as-you-go" basis, removing the need to pay upfront software licence fees and ongoing maintenance charges.
The companies said the service will give private and public sector organisations the opportunity to change the way they deliver HR and payroll services.
Pittsburg gets HR software
Pittsburg will have new human resources software to match up with software from the rest of the finance department, reports Morning Sun.
City commissioners approved a lease-to-purchase agreement with University National Bank to purchase the software from Incode.
"It may not have all the bells and whistles that other software might," says Jon Garrison, Pittsburg director of finance. "But it's the only one that will fit in with all our other software."
Patersons, Rostima
HR and payroll company, Patersons, has entered into an alliance with Rostima, a provider of enterprise workforce management solutions, to provide a global HR and payroll solution, reports Personnel Today.
Workforce management is inextricably linked to payroll and HR, but only some companies have a solution that can handle the complexities of planning and scheduling staff time and activities.
Karen Paterson, CEO of Patersons, says: "Many of our clients have complicated working patterns and the Rostima solution will help to manage these requirements effectively. It will integrate seamlessly into our payroll and HR solution."
