The Pinnacle Technology Holdings board has proposed a maiden dividend of 1.5c a share for the year to 30 June.
The company`s net profit for the year rose from R2.41 million to R12.66 million, while headline earnings of 8.9c a share were up from 4.8c previously.

CEO Arnold Fourie says the infrastructure and support operations benefited from exceptional growth in the Proline brand and the provision of additional products and successful tenders to government.
In the software and storage business, associate company Explix Technologies acquired the Sun Microsystems distributorship and increased the turnover of its retail division. Other companies in the business also improved their results.
ICT services benefited from providing technology support to the 2003 Cricket World Cup, the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the Africa Summit in Mozambique, and others.
Fourie says services provided by the group`s telecommunication solutions business are being added to take advantage of recent relaxation in telecommunications legislation.
"Pinnacle, as a diversified ICT group, is well positioned for further growth," Fourie says. "However, one needs to be cognisant of the vagaries of the present economic climate - globally and locally - and the possible impact on our business.
"Suffice it to say, committed management, strict corporate governance, continued aggressive marketing and focused concentration on growing the business will certainly yield ongoing positive results."
