Epicor comes out on top
Epicor Software, a provider of enterprise business software solutions, has been named the leading vendor of point-of-sale (POS) software to top specialty soft goods retailers in a recent report, says BusinessWire.
The Retailer's Guide: POS Software for Softgoods Retailers, published by global research and advisory firm IHL Group, evaluated vendors of POS software installed among the top 250 retailers in the specialty soft goods space and ranked the top 10, with Epicor topping the list.
Vendor rankings were based on total number of vendor accounts among the leading 250 soft goods retailers, estimated number of POS systems running the vendor's software based on store count and lanes per store data, and the retail revenue represented by vendor accounts.
