Mastech completes PeopleSoft implementation for St. Elizabeth Medical Center

PeopleSoft HRMS project to allow for increased financial management
By Corporate Communications Consultants
Johannesburg, 26 Jul 1999

Mastech Corporation (NASDAQ: MAST), a leading worldwide provider of information technology (IT) services, announced today that it has completed a PeopleSoft (NASDAQ: PSFT) HRMS and financials upgrade for St. Elizabeth Center. The implementation allows the Kentucky-based medical center to more efficiently manage the financials to better serve its more than 3,000 employees in three facilities. The upgrade involved the human resources/payroll, benefits and financials systems.

"We are pleased to have partnered with St. Elizabeth for this important project," said Lisa Kustra, Senior Vice President of the Enterprise Package Solution Division of Mastech. "St. Elizabeth`s importance in its community is unparalleled and we feel privileged to have been able to leverage our PeopleSoft skills for an upgrade that will ultimately help them better serve their patients."

As St. Elizabeth`s implementation , Mastech`s team of specialists applied The Mastech Methodology, a proprietary, fixed time/fixed price methodology, to complete the three-month project.

"Because of the Methodology and our ability to manage the project on a fixed time/fixed price basis, the St. Elizabeth project was completed on schedule and within budget. It is very gratifying to help another organization broaden its IT capabilities and to be able to point to another satisfied client," said Robert Lang, Mastech`s PeopleSoft Practice Director.

"We chose Mastech as our partner due to the fact that they have a proven track record in PeopleSoft upgrades," said Garren Colvin, Director of Accounting and Payroll, of St. Elizabeth. "Mastech`s work here was much appreciated-on time, on budget. We are looking forward to engaging Mastech to meet our future IT needs."
