Information transfer and digital communication is reliant upon high performance and robust ICT infrastructure. At the same time data is still considered a primary asset within most businesses.
The avalanche of interactive digital lifestyle technologies now available to the consumer means that effective data management, backup and storage is no longer a consideration of those operating within the corporate realm.
"Users want to safeguard their personal information. Whether its photographs, video clips, music, graphics or general text - people are prepared to pay for solutions that can offer peace-of-mind and security and ease-of-use in duplicating files," says Atul Gutpa, MD at Sahara Computers.
"This flexibility and functionality is extended with the Maxtor OneTouch II as users are given the opportunity to store and manipulate images. It is possible to create digital presentations or enjoy instant playback of graphics or video and much more," adds Gupta.
Maxtor OneTouch IITM allows for easy back-up and sufficient storage capacity to hold all files. Users can select the Maxtor Personal Storage 3000 and 3100 drive for add-on capacity. The product also features simple Maxtor user-interface for drive management, security and back-up scheduling.
Recommended retail price of the Maxtor OneTouch II 300GB USB is R2 499 and the Maxtor OneTouch II 300GB USB & Firewire is R2 799.
