MCI subsidiary joins EBI

Johannesburg, 28 Jun 2004

Businesscard.co.za, a subsidiary of MCI Consultants, today announced it has become a member of the Ekurhuleni Business Initiative, the EBI.

"As a direct result of the ever-changing business landscape and the constantly evolving business demands, business people need a business organisation that has created the necessary networks to connect to local and national government as well as the business community, on both a national and international level," commented Chris van Biljon, CEO of the EBI.

"Only by being connected to such a network will businesses grow and prosper. It is for this reason that EBI created a network that facilitates this communication."

"We have already benefited from being a member of the EBI in a number of ways," added Jenny Bell, General Manager of businesscard.co.za. "Weekly EBI networking meetings allow for the procurement of new business, as well as providing the opportunity to build brand awareness within the community of the EBI. We have also been able to advertise on the EBI`s fortnightly jacket of the `This Day` newspaper."
