Broker partners of Medshield Distribution Services will shortly be able to offer quotes for short-term insurance cover to their clients. Direct clients of Medshield will also be able to obtain quotes through their regional Medshield office.
This will follow the roll-out of the new BetterQuote Comparative Quoting Platform to these brokers and offices to enable them to provide clients with comparative quotes for motor and household contents insurance from leading insurers such as Santam, Regent, Auto & General, Zurich, Lion of Africa, New National and Unity.
Medshield Distribution Services MD Jan le Roux says: "The BetterQuote system is very much in line with the other services that we offer our contracted brokers, and will give them direct access to the short-term insurance market. This will be of significant benefit to them in expanding their businesses and will also attract new brokers to the Medshield family."
The BetterQuote platform was developed as a joint venture between BetterSure, Blue Label Data Solutions and Eldrid Jordaan and was founded on the principle of providing brokers and other financial professionals with access to technology and products that would improve efficiencies and product choice in their businesses.
