Merial SA, the local subsidiary of a multi-national pharmaceutical company, has recently completed the installation of Great Plains` Dynamics. The contract was awarded to TWO Inc Consulting, a national Great Plains value added (VAR), who managed to complete the implementation in less than two months.

Myles Sinclair, Managing Director of TWO Inc Consulting, says, "Based on Merial`s high standards, we completed implementation at substantially lower costs than those encountered by its international offices, but also in the fastest time recorded for Merial sites. We were able to meet Merial SA`s specific needs by working in partnership with Great Plains Consulting to provide add-ons that have satisfied the customer`s requirements."

Herman Lourens, Financial Manager of Merial SA, comments, "We selected Dynamics because TWO Inc Consulting were prepared to develop solutions to meet our exact needs. We have been extremely impressed with the speed at which TWO Inc Consulting has completed implementation - it was completed two weeks before the deadline. A key benefit for us, working in such a specialist industry, was the flexibility for integration brought about by the six add-ons that were written particularly for us. We have also been very impressed with Dynamics` ease of use." He explains that one of the add-ons that is particularly well-suited to the pharmaceutical industry is the solution created to track expiry dates on medication. "This way, we are able to ship medication long before its expiry date, decreasing the of outdated medication," concludes Herman Lourens. This solution is now wholly owned by Merial.
