The Microsoft Partner Network 2010 Awards recognises partners in South Africa who have excelled in delivering Microsoft solutions over the last fiscal year. Partners went through a new stringent nomination process, consisting of submitting nomination documents and presenting to a panel of Microsoft judges. Whereas in previous years, five finalists were chosen, a maximum of three were chosen per category this year.
Microsoft development powerhouse, 3fifteen, was announced the winner of the Services-Orientated Architecture (SOA) and Business Process Management (BPM) Award at the annual Microsoft Partner Awards Ceremony, held at the Sun City Super Bowl on 2 September 2010.
The SOA and BPM Award is reserved for Microsoft partners that have excelled in the area of business process management and integration, and is a prestigious recognition of the service and innovation excellence of Microsoft partners.
3fifteen's award in this category is testament to the way their market-leading innovations and sound project management principles are empowering customers to become best-in-class in their respective industries - most notably evident in 3fifteen's longstanding relationship with Astute, whose Financial Services Exchange, developed and supported by 3fifteen, has transformed the way that life insurers and investments industry member companies engage with their customers and stakeholders on a daily basis.
This is the fifth consecutive year that 3fifteen has been nominated for this coveted award. 3fifteen was also nominated as finalist in the Business Intelligence, Information Worker and Custom Development categories.
James Baber, CEO of 3fifteen, comments: “I am extremely proud that 3fifteen has received such a prestigious award and I would like to thank all our customers and Microsoft for their support. This award, accompanied by nominations in three other categories, confirms that 3fifteen's approach to customers, project delivery, and post project support is of an extremely high standard.”
